Governor Polis Takes Action to Provide Election Security

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis issued an Executive Order to activate the Colorado National Guard to assist with Election Cybersecurity Defense efforts. This Executive Order activates no less than six and up to nine members of the Colorado National Guard Cyber Operations Element to provide election cybersecurity defense assistance during the 2024 Presidential Primary Election beginning February 27, 2024, for up to thirty days. 

With this action, Colorado continues its long history of safe and secure elections, providing Coloradans with the opportunity to exercise their fundamental right to vote. Governor Polis encourages all eligible Coloradans to make their voice heard in this primary election. Election day is Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. Remember to return your ballot by 7 pm on Election Day.   Colorado voters can find their nearest ballot drop box or voting center at GoVoteColorado.gov.
