Welcome to the Governor’s Office of Boards and Commissions. We are continually looking for qualified candidates to serve on almost 300 boards and commissions that oversee a large variety of subjects and make a wide range of decisions affecting your day-to-day lives as Coloradans.

Boards and Commissions Opportunities

Notice: Currently seeking qualified candidates to the Complete Count Campaign.

The State Complete Count Campaign (CCC) is a volunteer committee established to increase awareness about Census 2020; identify and provide strategic outreach efforts for Census 2020 in Colorado; provide avenues for the Census information to be disseminated; and encourage additional local Complete Count Campaigns across Colorado which will motivate residents in the community to respond with the result of the best, most accurate, count in Colorado.

The Complete Count Committee will draw on the successful partnerships and marketing efforts of its members in order to promote Census 2020.  There are 40 members on the committee that are charged with identifying ways to engage, interact with and work with trusted sources of information in the community. Through these established partnerships, the committee can help spread the word throughout state agencies, local governments, community organizations, schools and other venues, such as churches, synagogues and mosques. 

 Time Commitment

●     1-2 hours monthly for scheduled meetings.

●     Additional 1 hour per month for outside forums and subcommittee meetings beginning January 2019.


●     Currently there is no budget for travel.

●     Meetings will be available via phone and webinar.

We are looking for applicants for the following boards and commissions that have terms expiring in June, July, and August of 2018. If you are interested in applying, please submit your application and resume as soon as possible. We ask that applicants apply to no more than five boards at a time.  




Additionally, the following boards currently have vacancies due to resignations. Listed are the board, and the position which is currently vacant. All appointees will fill out the remainder of the resignee's term.
