Governor Polis Signs Bills into Law

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis signed the following bipartisan bills into law during a ceremony in the Governor’s Office. 

  • HB24-1058 - Protect Privacy of Biological Data, sponsored by Representatives Cathy Kipp and Matt Soper, and Senators Mark Baisley and Kevin Priola.
  • HB24-1074 - Aggravated Cruelty to Law Enforcement Animals, sponsored by Representatives Ryan Armagost and Monica Duran, and Senators Joann Ginal and Bob Gardner. 
  • HB24-1097 - Military Family Occupational Credentialing, sponsored by Representatives Rick Taggart and Mike Weissman, and Senators Rhonda Fields and Bob Gardner.

The Governor signed the following bipartisan bills into law administratively.

  • HB24-1062 - Warrants for Metro Sewage Disposal Districts, sponsored by Representatives Gabe Evans and Brianna Titone, and Senators Kevin Priola and Bob Gardner.  
  • HB24-1081 - Regulate Sale Transfer Sodium Nitrite, sponsored by Representatives Judy Amabile and Marc Catlin, and Senators Dylan Roberts and Byron Pelton. 
  • HB24-1118 - Authority of Attorney General to Operate District Attorney's Office, sponsored by Representatives Bob Marshall and Junie Joseph, and Senators Dylan Roberts and Bob Gardner.
