Governor Polis Signs Bills into Law

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis signed bills into law. 

Governor Polis signed the following bill into law, to support the celebration of Colorado’s 150th, sesquicentennial, in 2026. The bill allows the commission to provide opportunities and grants to help every Colorado community celebrate this historic milestone. 

• HB24-1209 - America 250 - Colorado 150 Cash Fund, sponsored by Representatives Emily Sirota and Rick Taggart, and Senators Rachel Zenzinger and Barbara Kirkmeyer. 

Governor Polis also signed the following bills into law. 

• HB24-1206 - School Food Authorities, sponsored by Representatives Shannon Bird and Emily Sirota, and Senators Rachel Zenzinger and Barabara Kirkmeyer. 

• HB24-1207 - Adjustments to School Funding Budget Year 2023-24, sponsored by Representatives Shannon Bird and Emily Sirota, and Senators Rachel Zenzinger and Barbara Kirkmeyer. 

• SJR24-004 - Water Projects Eligibility Lists, sponsored by Senators Dylan Roberts and Cleave Simpson, and Representatives Karen McCormick and Marc Catlin.
