Gov. Polis appoints District Court Judge in Tenth Judicial District

DENVER — Gov. Polis today announced the appointment of Gregory J. Styduhar as a District Court Judge in the Tenth Judicial District, to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Jill S. Mattoon. 

Styduhar is a District Court Magistrate in Colorado’s 10th Judicial District, a position he has held since August 2017. His docket consists of criminal, juvenile, adoption, domestic relations, and foreclosure sale matters. Previously, Styduhar served as the County Attorney in Pueblo County (2013-2017); an Assistant County Attorney in Pueblo County (2011-2013); and an Associate at Koncilja & Koncilja, P.C. (2003-2011). He earned his B.S. from the University of Southern Colorado in 1997 and his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law in 2003.

Styduhar’s appointment is effective Feb. 8, 2020.
