Gov. Polis appoints District Court Judge in Seventeenth Judicial District

DENVER — Gov. Polis today announced the appointment of Kyle P. Seedorf as a District Court Judge in the Seventeenth Judicial District, to fill a judgeship created pursuant to Senate Bill 19-043.

Seedorf is a Partner with Taylor Anderson, LLP, a position he has held since 2010.  His practice consists primarily of civil defense in personal injury and property damage cases, and insurance coverage matters.  Previously, Seedorf was an Associate with Taylor Anderson, LLP (2009-2010); Associate at Snell & Wilmer, LLP (2002-2006 and 2007-2009); and General Counsel and Director of Legal Affairs at the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Colorado Student Loan Program (2006-2007). Seedorf earned his B.A. from Hastings College in 1999, and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2002.

Seedorf’s appointment is effective January 1, 2020.
