Gov. Polis appoints District Court Judge in Eighteenth Judicial District

DENVER — Gov. Jared Polis today announced the appointment of Eric B. White as a District Court Judge in the 18th Judicial District, occasioned by the retirement of the Honorable Charles M. Pratt. 

White is currently the Combined Court Magistrate in the 18th Judicial District, a position he has held since 2015. He presides over domestic relations matters and the Recovery Court.  Previously, he was a sole practitioner (2011-2014 and 1993-2005) and a partner at Whitaker & White, LLC (2005-2011). White earned his B.A. from the University of Colorado in 1989 and his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound in 1992.

White’s appointment is effective September 16, 2019.
