Air Quality Control Commission 

The Commission develops and maintains a comprehensive program for the prevention and control of air pollution in Colorado. The major goal of this program is to meet national ambient air quality standards.

  • Jonathan Davis of Loveland, Colorado, to serve as a member with labor and industrial experience, appointed; 

  • Harold James Sewell of Castle Rock, Colorado, to serve as a member with technical experience, reappointed;

Automobile Theft Prevention Board 

The board shall solicit and review applications for grants that assist in improving and supporting automobile theft prevention programs or programs for the enforcement or prosecution of automobile theft crimes through statewide planning and coordination.

  • Brent Nelson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a statewide association of district attorneys, appointed;

Colorado Aeronautical Board 

The Colorado Aeronautical Board assesses the state's aviation needs and makes recommendations to the Director of the Division of Aeronautics within the Department of Transportation.

  • Gigi Dennis of Monte Vista, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a local government that operates airports on the western slope, appointed. 


 

Clean Fleet Enterprise 

The Clean Fleet Enterprise will incentivize and support the use of electric motor vehicles.

  • Olga Mijares of Commerce City, Colorado, to serve as an individual from a disproportionately impacted community, occasioned by a resignation, appointed. 


 

Colorado Dental Board 

The Colorado Dental Board makes rules and regulations, examines and licenses dentists and dental hygienists, and conducts hearings regarding the suspension or revocation of licenses.

Colorado HIV Alliance for Prevention, Care and Treatment 

To promote effective HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment programs, the HIV Alliance shall advise, inform and closely consult with CDPHE with regard to issues, trends, needs, policy, and resources pertaining to HIV/AIDS throughout the State of Colorado.

Colorado Scenic and Historic Byways Commission

The Commission works with state agencies, the US Forest Services, Bureau of Land Management, local byways organizations, public and private resources, to assist in the development of byways management plans, including interpretation, promotion and protection of distinctive byways characteristics.  They also help coordinate the budgeting process and allocation of federal, state, and private funds for the purpose of byway improvement.

Colorado State Board of Chiropractic Examiners 

The State Board of Chiropractic Examiners is responsible for making rules and regulations dealing with the Chiropractic Profession in Colorado.  It also grants licenses to qualified applicants, approves chiropractic schools and conducts hearings when necessary.

Colorado Water Conservation Board

The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) was created in 1937 for the purpose of aiding in the protection and development of the waters of the state. The agency is responsible for water project planning and finance, stream and lake protection, flood hazard identification and mitigation, weather modification, river restoration, water conservation and drought planning, water information, and water supply protection.

Colorado Wildlife Habitat Stamp Committee 

The Colorado Wildlife Habitat Stamp Committee shall annually review proposed projects for expenditure of Colorado wildlife habitat stamp funds and make recommendations to the director and the wildlife commission.

Correctional Industries Advisory Committee 

The Correctional Industries Advisory Committee advises the directors of the program on the manufacture, distribution and private-sector impact of products produced by Correctional Industries.

eHealth Commission 

The Commission shall support the implementation of the state's Health IT strategy and

Fire Service Training and Certification Advisory Board 

The purpose of the Board is to establish a fire service education and training program and to establish procedures and criteria for certification of firefighters.

Front Range Passenger Rail District Board

The purpose of the Front Range Passenger Rail District Board is to research, develop, construct, and maintain an interconnected passenger rail system within the front range.

Minority Business Advisory Council

Ponderosa Mountain Pine Beetle Task Force

The Ponderosa Mountain Pine Beetle Task Force was created to coordinate a rapid, cross-sector response to the growing mountain pine beetle outbreak threatening Front Range forests and communities. The Task Force will develop recommendations and a comprehensive work plan to reduce public safety risks, strengthen wildfire preparedness, protect watersheds and infrastructure and support forest resilience.

State Board of the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund

The Board manages the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund, which receives a portion of Colorado Lottery proceeds. These proceeds are used to make investments through the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission and award grants to local governments and land trusts. Funds are used for open space and wildlife habitat protection, species protection, environmental education programs, enhancements to state parks, trails, and local park and outdoor recreation projects.

The Urban Drainage and Flood Control Districts Board of Directors assists local governments in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of multi-jurisdictional drainage and flood control projects.

Water Quality Control Commission 

The Commission is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive and effective program for prevention, control and abatement of water pollution of the waters throughout the entire State.

Judicial Nominating Commissions

There is a judicial district nominating commission for each of Colorado’s 23 judicial districts that select nominees for district and county judicial vacancies. Each district nominating commission is chaired by a justice of the Supreme Court, who is a non-voting member of the commission. Attorney appointments are a joint appointment by the Governor, Chief Justice, and Attorney General.
