Automobile Theft Prevention Board

The board shall solicit and review applications for grants that assist in improving and supporting automobile theft prevention programs or programs for the enforcement or prosecution of automobile theft crimes through statewide planning and coordination. 

for terms expiring February 1, 2024:

  • Undersheriff Lloyd Rich Smith of Westcliffe, Colorado, to serve as a representative of law enforcement, occasioned by the resignation of Chief Clinton Nichols of Commerce City, Colorado, appointed;

  • Mark Harrington of Boulder, Colorado, to serve as a representative of an insurance company authorized to issue motor vehicle insurance policies, occasioned by the resignation of Richard Shirling of Parker, Colorado, appointed.

Child Fatality Prevention Review Team

The purpose of the Child Fatality Prevention System (CFPS) is to conduct multidisciplinary and comprehensive reviews of child fatalities that occur in Colorado in order to better understand how and why children die and to develop and implement strategies to prevent future deaths from occurring. On an annual basis, the CFPS prioritizes policy and practice recommendations to prevent child fatalities and submits the recommendations to the Governor and the Colorado General Assembly in a legislative report.

  • Sheriff John FitzSimons of Silverthorne, Colorado, to serve as a county sheriff, reappointed;

  • Katie Price Murphy of Littleton, Colorado, to serve as a nurse who specializes in traumatic injury or children’s health, reappointed;

  • Shannon Leigh Meddings, of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a county attorney who practices in the area of dependency and neglect, reappointed;

  • Daniel Cohen of Erie, Colorado, to serve as a district attorney, reappointed;

  • Amanda Pennington of Denver, Colorado, to serve as the Office of Colorado’s Child

Protection Ombudsman, reappointed;

  • Selena Silva of Centennial, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a local fire department, appointed.

Colorado Aeronautical Board

The Colorado Aeronautical Board assesses the state's aviation needs and makes recommendations to the Director of the Division of Aeronautics within the Department of Transportation.

for terms expiring December 19, 2025:

  • Charles “Chaz” Tedesco of Commerce City, Colorado, to serve as a representative of local government that operates airports on the Eastern Slope, reappointed; 

  • Kent Holsinger of Walden, Colorado, to serve as a representative of local government that operates airports on the Western Slope, reappointed.

Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority Board

The Water Resources and Power Development Authority finances, develops, constructs and maintains water projects in Colorado and administers the Drinking Water and Water Pollution Control Revolving Funds.

for terms expiring October 1, 2026:

  • Bruce Whitehead of Hesperus, Colorado, to serve as a representative from the San Miguel-Dolores-San Juan drainage basin, and as a representative with experience in the engineering aspects of water projects, appointed; 

  • Christopher Treese of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, to serve as a representative from the Main Colorado drainage basin, and as a representative with experience in public health issues related to drinking water or water quality matters, reappointed.

Forest Health Advisory Council

The Forest Health Advisory Council provides a collaborative forum to advise the State Forester on a broad range of issues, opportunities and threats with regard to Colorado’s forests.

for a term expiring September 1, 2024:

  • Katie McGrath-Novak of Longmont, Colorado, to serve as a representative employed or associated with a forest collaborative organization, occasioned by the resignation of Aaron Kimple of Durango, Colorado, appointed.

Judicial Nominating Commissions

There is a judicial district nominating commission for each of Colorado’s 22 judicial districts that selects nominees for district and county judicial vacancies. Each district nominating commission is chaired by a justice of the Supreme Court, who is a non-voting member of the commission.

Fourth Judicial Nominating Commission

for a term expiring December 31, 2027:

  • Roland Rainey of Colorado Springs, Colorado to serve as a non-attorney, a Republican, and a member from El Paso County, appointed.

Juvenile Parole Board

The Colorado Juvenile Parole Board grants, denies, modifies, suspends or revokes parole for juvenile delinquents.

for terms expiring November 15, 2026:

  • Rachael Victoria Lovendahl of Fort Collins, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the Department of Education, reappointed;

  • Jared Prochnow of Fruita, Colorado, to serve as a public member not employed by state government and as Chair, reappointed;

  • Gretchen Jamie Russo of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the Department of Human Services, reappointed;

  • Cherrie Greco of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a public member not employed by state

government, appointed.

Physical Therapy Board

The Physical Therapy Board is responsible for the regulations of the practice of physical therapy in Colorado.  It grants licenses to qualified applicants and adopts all reasonable and necessary rules for the administration and enforcement of regulations.

for terms effective January 1, 2023 and expiring January 1, 2027:

  • Todd Ward PT, CSCS of Gunnison, Colorado, to serve as a physical therapist, reappointed;

  • Heather Dorward of Aurora, Colorado, to serve as a physical therapist, reappointed.

Workers’ Compensation Cost Containment Board

The board is responsible for promoting cost containment and risk management programs in the administration of workers’ compensation programs.

for terms expiring December 13, 2025:

  • Patrick Hagge of Fort Collins, Colorado, to serve as an executive with good risk management experience in the insurance industry, reappointed; 

  • Steve Carpenter of Frederick, Colorado, to serve as an executive with good risk management experience in the insurance industry, appointed; 

  • Tom Jensen of Gypsum, Colorado, to serve as an executive with good risk management experience in the insurance industry, appointed. 

Workforce Development Council

The Council consists of representatives of the business community and state agencies.  The Council, in consultation with the business community and state agencies, shall advise the Governor on matters regarding the employment and training needs of the state and on workforce development plans and strategy.

for terms expiring on September 28, 2025:

  • Richard Elsner of Pine, Colorado, to serve as a representative of local government,

reappointed;

  • Marta Loachamin of Longmont, Colorado, to serve as a representative of local government, appointed;

  • Danielle Kirkpatrick of Durango, Colorado, to serve as a representative of business,
