Gov. Polis Partners with Community-Based Organizations and Announces Five Additional Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics
DENVER - As part of Governor Polis’ Vaccines for All efforts, the State of Colorado is allocating vaccines to community-based organizations. All of these clinics focus on vaccinating underserved Coloradans and span a variety of diverse communities.
“The COVID vaccine is free and easy-to-access, plus it can save the life of you or someone you love,” said Governor Jared Polis. “Get your shot today to help yourself and your community prevent further unnecessary, preventable loss. My administration is committed to ensuring that anyone who wants this free, safe vaccine has access to it.”
We encourage everyone interested in an appointment to check availability with each organization and schedule an appointment in advance.

A Precious Child
“A Precious Child has been providing a safe environment serving low-income disadvantaged youth in the Denver Metro area for over 12 years. A Precious Child understands the unique needs of the families we serve and took the initiative to help ensure their public health and safety through an onsite vaccination clinic on Friday, June 11th. A Precious Child and local Agency Partners will be providing vaccinations and other basic essentials to our families, such as clothing, hygiene items, diapers and food." said Nichole Everman, Chief Operating Officer.

“The Gov's vaccination promotion has made a difference, especially to the minority and under privileged groups. In our case, we had both online appointments as well as walk- ins, [where we sought to] cater for the refugee Muslim Coloradans, especially those who had language and trust issues. Our gratitude to Gov Polis and his Staff for their vaccinations efforts which made Coloradans one of the highest vaccinated per capita in the world.” said Mazen Kherdeen, volunteer.

"It's all about the kids of Westwood and all of Southwest Denver. We are honored to be able to partner with the Governor's office to do our part in leveling the playing field for our community and ensuring more equitable access to COVID vaccines for our students and their families. Any and all parents that want to vaccinate their children 12 and older should not only have the option, but should have multiple opportunities to do so that are convenient and located in their community. It is our hope that this can be one of those opportunities." said Principal Daniel Walsh.
Additionally, Governor Polis announced the launch of five new mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics. The current clinics have delivered almost 13,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to residents across the state.
Three of the newest mobile clinics launched at the beginning of June, one serving the Metro area, one in the Northeast and one in South Central Colorado.
