Governor Polis Announces Winner of Second $1 Million Colorado Comeback Cash Vaccine Drawing

3 More Chances for Coloradans to win $1 Million 

DENVER - Governor Polis announced the winner of the second $1 million Colorado Comeback Cash Vaccine Drawing. Stephanie Ward of Littleton is the latest Coloradan to win the drawing. 

“Each person has their own reason for getting vaccinated and everyone who gets protected is a winner. Whether it’s to protect your own health, travel again, see family, or maybe it’s to win a million dollars, there are so many reasons to get the lifesaving COVID vaccine. Congratulations to Stephanie and her family on winning $1 million just for quickly and easily getting vaccinated,” said Governor Polis. “From any free drive-thru options at one of Colorado’s six community vaccination sites, to your family doctor, or even the local CVS or Walgreens down the road, there are a variety of ways to get a shot today. Don’t wait, get the highly effective, free COVID vaccine as soon as you can.”

“It is my honor to be Colorado’s second comeback cash winner. Initially, my family wasn’t in agreement with getting the COVID vaccine. But we weighed the risks and benefits and ultimately, we decided the benefits outweighed any fears that we had,” said Stephanie Ward, Colorado’s second Comeback Cash winner. “COVID is a very real thing and for myself and a lot of people, we’ve all had losses over this past year and time lost that we can’t take back with our loved ones. Our hope in getting the COVID-19 vaccine is to get back to normalcy and protect our loved ones.”

There are still three more chances for Coloradans to win $1 million as part of the Colorado Comeback Cash drawing. Coloradans 18 and older who have received the vaccine will be automatically registered to win. Winners will be announced June 18, June 25, with the final winner being announced on July 7. Coloradans must be vaccinated by June 30 to qualify to win on July 7. 

Younger Coloradans ages 12 to 17 are eligible for the Colorado Comeback Cash Scholarship drawing. Five eligible Coloradans will be randomly selected to win a $50,000 scholarship each week for four weeks. Drawings for the Comeback Cash Scholarship will occur on Mondays and winners will be announced on Thursdays June 17, June 24, July 1, and July 8.
