Gov. Polis Partners with Community-Based Organizations, Hosts Clinics as Part of Vaccines for All Plan
DENVER - As part of Governor Polis’ Vaccines for All plan, the State of Colorado is allocating vaccines to community-based organizations across the state to host a total of 18 vaccination clinics between Friday, Feb. 26 - Thursday, March 4, 2021. These clinics will focus on vaccinating underserved Coloradans and span a variety of diverse communities.
Each of the following clinics are not accepting walk-in appointments. You must have an appointment to attend.
“My administration is proud to partner with a variety of organizations to distribute the vaccine all across Colorado in an effective, rapid, and equitable way. This weekend and next week, even more Coloradans will have access to this lifesaving vaccine and Colorado is another step closer towards ending this pandemic. With a focus on ensuring the vaccine is widely distributed, Colorado is making sure underserved communities have many convenient opportunities to access the highly effective vaccine,” said Governor Jared Polis.

“Community Ministry has been serving the Southwest Denver area for over 50 years with basic needs such as food, clothing and utility assistance. The ability to host a vaccination site for our community is a great opportunity to meet a very real need in a timely manner. We believe that increasing the number of opportunities for people to get vaccinated in facilities with which they are already familiar is a vital part of the distribution programs. Getting the vaccine, especially to the community that we serve, will help all of us return to a better normal,” said Joyce Neufeld, Executive Director.
