Governor Polis Takes Action to Address COVID-19 and Inclement Weather or Safety Situations

DENVER - Governor Jared Polis took action today to address the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the safety of State employees in the event of an inclement weather or safety event.

The Governor extended an Executive Order concerning changes to 2020 election activity to limit in-person contact while allowing the election to proceed safely and without interruption to the Secretary of State’s operations.  The Governor also released an Executive Order updating weather and safety condition directives and protocols for State employees that will both provide for continuity of government and services and ensure the safety of State employees.
