Colorado Low Energy Assistance Program

Colorado Energy Office Weatherization Assistance Program

Colorado’s Weatherization Assistance Program provides energy efficiency and renewable energy retrofits for income-qualified Colorado residents and their homes. Energy efficiency retrofits include insulation, air infiltration sealing, high efficiency furnace, LED lightbulbs, high efficiency refrigerator, storm windows, and more to reduce your energy bills. Also, depending on your home’s eligibility, you may qualify for a rooftop solar system to offset part or all of your electricity bill. Typical utility bill savings range from $100 to $500 per year. These services are provided free of charge. If you have recently lost a job or have had a reduction in income as a result of COVID-19, now is an excellent time to apply for Weatherization services. Contact the Weatherization service provider in your county to apply.
