The most magical event of the year is the 27th Annual Catch the Glow Parade. Just as dusk arrives, floats with thousands of tiny twinkling lights roll along Elkhorn Avenue lighting up the street. There will be storybook figures, angels, snowmen, marching bands, entertainers, wildlife characters and of course, Santa and his sleigh!

Welcome to the 2015 Estes Park Elk Fest! October in Estes Park is now known as "Elktober." Join the transition into fall and celebrate all of Estes Park's natural beauty and wildlife. Elk Fest is the perfect opportunity for an up close wildlife experience and fun for all ages. Please continue to check our website for routine updates and all 2015 event applications.

The Estes Park Jazz Festival and Art Walk is produced by the Special Events Department of the Town of Estes Park and is directed by founder and jazz artist, Max Wagner. The festival is presented free to the public courtesy of the Town of Estes Park and our sponsors: Mama Rose’s & Poppy’s Pizza, KUVO Jazz Radio and the Cultural Arts Council.
The rodeo with altitude! Annual 6 day rodeo featuring PRCA's best competitors both animal & cowboy/cowgirl. The 2015 Rooftop Rodeo, its 89th year, is an event not to be missed! Winner of Best Small Rodeo of the year & nominated for Best Medium Sized Rodeo. Light up the season in Estes Park at the 5th Annual Estes Park Tree Lighting Ceremony. This event has become an Estes Park tradition with its unique characteristics and community recognition. The tradition continues this year on Saturday, November 21, 2015 in George Hix Riverside Plaza.
Guests are welcome to decorate a stocking or ornament, enjoy sweet treats from the s'mores bar and hot chocolate vendors, Radio Flyer wagon rides, community sing-alongs and an early visit from Santa Claus. The lighting of the live tree begins promptly at 5:30 p.m.
