Initiatives

In 2016, the Estes Park in Bloom committee launched a program to recognize local businesses that put an emphasis on beautifully maintained landscapes, floral displays, and a tidy store front. In 2018, the program expanded to include Neighborhood Bright Spots, honoring residents' efforts at their homes. The popularity of this program inspired the development of Estes Bright Spot, which honors organizations, private residents, and businesses for their environmental efforts and heritage programs, arts and culture, and beautifully maintained landscapes and floral displays.

The Estes Park in Bloom committee is comprised of representatives from local businesses, the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District, Estes Valley Partners for Commerce, YMCA of the Rockies, Visit Estes Park, and the Town of Estes Park.

To nominate an individual, business or organization for an award, or to become involved with the Estes Park in Bloom project, contact Parks Supervisor Brian Berg at 970-577-3783 or email bberg@estes.org.
