Access and Transportation

I-70 Interchange

Transportation is a key feature for Bennett’s growth which includes air, rail and road travel serving the regional, state and international markets.  The Town is within 20 miles of Front Range Airport and Denver International Airports.  Union Pacific railway service bisects the Town from east to west and Interstate 70 provides a high volume of vehicular and truck traffic through Town.  State Highway 79 and 36 (Colfax Avenue) add to the roadway system providing north and south as well as east and west travel regionally.  These significant transportation systems provide access and visibility to active commercial and mixed-use areas in town.  The Adams County portion of Bennett’s limits is fully captured within a state enterprise zone, while its entire area is located within a foreign trade zone.

Bennett is the very first incorporated area east of Aurora. The Town is uniquely positioned to capture the next wave of growth within the Denver Metropolitan area. Today, Bennett is leading the way for development on the eastern I-70 corridor.
