Mandatory Water Restrictions Lifted

The Stage 1 water restrictions put in place on July 27, 2018 were lifted on May 7, 2019 when the Walsenburg City Council passed Resolution 2019 R-4.

The City requests citizens continue to voluntarily conserve water. The City Lake Dam project places 1.5MGPD pumping limitation on the amount of water that can be treated so excessive use could exceed treatment capabilities.

The City believes that we can meet the demand but will be required to re-enact restrictions if use exceeds treatment capacity so PLEASE Use Water Wisely!
