Collection System Operator/Trainee

Starting Pay: $17.00/hour plus excellent benefit package 

Closing Date: Open until filled

Position Summary: 
Under minimal supervision, is responsible for the operation of the District’s wastewater collection system and equipment. Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 

Required Minimum Qualifications: 
High School graduate or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must reside within a 30 minute response time of the Upper Thompson Sanitation District office, at posted speed limits. The successful candidate must acquire and maintain a valid State of Colorado Class B CDL. Prior to employment, the successful candidate will be required to complete an employment screening to include a pre-placement physical, substance screening and background investigation.
