Walden is situated in the center of a large open valley called North Park, Colorado, an area whose history is as vivid and engaging as the natural beauty that surrounds it. In the old times it was also refer to as the Bullpen. North Park boundaries are made up of the Wyoming border to the north, the Medicine Bow Range to the east, The Rabbit Ears Range to the south and the Park Range to the west.
