High Street Wall - Chalk Art Competition
Where: Along a portion of the cement retaining wall on the south-east side of High St.
Time: 10:00AM - 2:00PM
Who: For kids, teens, adults, family or teams that want to have fun and display their creative side for residents and travelers driving into Red Cliff!
• To keep everyone safe, High St will be closed off between 9:00AM and 2:00PM on
   Saturday, Sept 8. We ask that folks use the alternative route on Water St off of Hwy 24to
   enter and exit the town.
• Special chalk will be distributed the day of the event and 3' to 5' sections of the wall will  
   be marked off.
• Winners will be announced on Sunday, Sept 9 at the Annual Red Cliff Community Unity  
   Day at the Town Park.

August 17 & 18, 2018 - TransRockies Run
Stage 4: Nova Guides at Camp Hale to Red Cliff
Stage 5: Red Cliff to Vail
2018 will mark the 12th year of the original TransRockies Run. This stage race takes runners on an epic journey from Buena Vista to Beaver Creek of 6 incredible days of Rocky Mountain running. TransRockies Run is the trail running adventure of a lifetime!

June 7, 2018 - GoPro Mountain Games - Homestake Steep Creek Championship
Dropping a whopping 480-feet per mile, Homestake Creek is a paddling gem that was once known only to Vail Valley locals. This ¼ mile stretch of creek near Eagle County’s oldest town, Red Cliff, is the location of the Steep Creek Championship. Homestake is for experienced kayakers, but spectating the race is extremely fan-friendly! By car it takes about a half hour from Vail Village to reach Homestake Creek for the competition.

May 19, 2018 – Annual Town Clean-Up Day
10:00AM - 2:00PM Rain or Shine!
The Spring Clean is Here! Everyone that lives in the Town of Red Cliff is invited to stop by the central Town Park to pick up garbage bags and do their part to pick up trash, debris and recycle materials in and around Town and their own yards. There will be a thank you party with free food, beer & sodas and raffle for prizes at Mango’s Mountain Grill from 2:00PM to 4:00PM for anyone that participates in helping clean up our Town. (Soda & beer tickets will be distributed during cleanup.)
