The Estes Park Free Shuttles operate primarily during the peak summer season, an eleven week period from late-June to mid-September each year. Additional shuttle services coincide with special events.

Visitor Center Transit Facility Parking Structure construction due for completion in July 2017

South parking lot at the Visitor Center closed until summer 2017

Construction of the four-story Estes Park Transit Facility Parking Structure is expected to be completed in July 2017 at the Estes Park Visitor Center parking lot south of the Big Thompson River. The Town and its construction manager/general contractor, Heath Construction are working hard to open the facility as soon as possible for summer use. The structure will increase parking by 310 spaces at the Vistor Center. Updates are available at www.estes.org/transitfacilityparkingstructure.

During the closure, please park in the north parking lot at the Estes Park Visitor Center via Hwy 34/Big Thompson Ave. to access all shuttle services.

2017 Free Trolley Special Service Days

The Elkhorn Express free trolley operates on special weekends in the fall; operating from the Estes Park Visitor Center to locations noted in the following tables.

EP Visitor Center Transit HubThe Estes Park Visitor Center (500 Big Thompson Ave.) acts as the transportation hub for the free shuttles in the summer and throughout the year. See the schedules above for service days and times at this location.

Fairgrounds Park-n-Ride ShelterThe Events Complex Park-n-Ride at Stanley Park (1209 Manford Ave.) offers hundreds of parking spaces and shuttle service (via the Silver and Green Routes in the summer and select special events) to the transportation hub at the Estes Park Visitor Center and Bond Park in downtown Estes Park. See the schedules above for service days and times at this location.
