To obtain a copy of a police report or other record, visit the Estes Park Police Department in person (located at 170 MacGregor Ave) to fill out a release from or print the Records Request form. Specify which report is requested by report number, date of incident, type of incident, and include names of persons involved in the report. Once the form is completed and payment is received, EPPD can begin to process the request. Make checks payable to Town of Estes Park. Please note that Estes Park Police Department does not fax or e-mail copies of reports.
Fingerprinting services are offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. at the front desk of the Estes Park Police Department, located in Town Hall at 170 MacGregor Ave. No appointment is required. The fingerprinting fee is $20. Cash, check and money order are accepted.
The Estes Park Police Department provides breathalyzer tests (BA's/PBT's) Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays. Request a breathalyzer in person at the Police Department lobby, located inside Town Hall at 170 MacGregor Ave. No appointment is required. The test fee is $15 per occurrence.
Online accident reports, or counter reports, can be filed through the Colorado State Patrol's website. If you are unsure if your accident is eligible for an online report, see the terms listed on State Patrol's website or contact the law enforcement agency where your accident occured.
Estes Park Police Department maintains a registered sex offender list for those people who reside within the Town limits of Estes Park. Individuals living outside of the Town limits must register with Larimer County Sheriff's Office in Ft. Collins.
