International Building Codes Adoption Process 2015

Chief Building Official Will Birchfield has been directed by the elected officials to move forward with the adoption process of the 2015 Internation Building Codes. The Town is currently operating under the 2009 Codes. Adoption of the 2015 International Building Codes will keep the Town current with industry standards, new technologies and materials, recent studies and other local jurisdictions, including Larimer County.

The Estes Park Board of Appeals will meet on a monthly basis to review each code and recommend local amendments. These meetings are open to the public, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and participate. Meetings will typically be held the first Thursday of each month in the Town Board Room at Town Hall, 170 MacGregor Avenue, from 4 to 6 p.m.  If needed, additional public meetings will held to allow all stakeholders to voice their concerns and ideas. Please review this page for updated information, including changes in meeting dates.
