Winter Storm Warning: October 29, 2019 - October 30, 2019: Town Hall Opening at 10 a.m.

UPDATE:The Winter Storm Warning was been issued by the National Weather Service from 6 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, until 6 a.m. Wednesday, October 30 has been cancelled. 

Town of Bennett Town Hall will be openng at 10 a.m. October 30, 2019. Bennett School District will be closed again Wednesday October 30, 2019. 

I-70 reopened at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday October 30, 2019 from Airpark Road to Limon in both directions.

Heavy snow totaling 6 to 12 inches is expected. Travel is expected to be very difficult. Snow will become widespread Tuesday morning, across much of the area, with heavier snow developing later Tuesday morning through the afternoon. Roads are expected to become snow covered and slippery with hazardous travel conditions by midday through Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

The hazardous conditions are expected to impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commute. The cold wind chills could be as low as 15 below zero. If you have to travel, do so with extreme caution.
