Old Victory Fire burns east of Bennett
The Old Victory Fire burning east of Bennett is now reduced to 21.3 acres and is 80% contained. Evacuations are being lifted and structures are no longer threatened.
The South Metro Fire Rescue is assisting Bennett Fire Rescue with the Old Victory Fire east of Bennett.
The fire is approximately 80 acres, four homes are threatened, and six homes evacuated. No injuries have been reported and the cause is unknown. Two drops have been made on the Old Victory Fire.
Bennett Fire Rescue and South Metro Fire Rescue has 41 Units and approximately 100 personnel from 12 fire agencies on scene in addition to Adams County Sheriff and Emergency Management.
