Host Homes Needed for Pedal The Plains

Host Homes Needed for Pedal The Plains Riders on Friday, September 14, 2018!

Bennett is fortunate to be selected again this year as one of the overnight stops for Pedal The Plains. This annual event takes approximately 2000 bike riders on a six or seven-day tour of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. Staff and family members add to the number of participants, bringing the number of travelers to approximately 2500. The demand for lodging may be beyond what the local hotels and motels can provide. Tents, RV’s, and sleeping bags on the gym floor are OK for some, but a wonderful way for Bennett to display our hospitality, and for individuals to become acquainted with some interesting people from across the U.S., is to offer private home lodging.

The Town of Bennett is heading up the arrangements to match up riders with host homes.

A bed and bathroom is all that is required. You and your guest(s) will make arrangements regarding times and transportation from Town of Bennett Town Hall to your home and back.

Help us make Bennett the best stop along the Pedal The Plains route!

Please fill out the attached form, and return it to Town of Bennett Public Relations Coordinator, Alison Digan at (303)644-3249 ext. 1019 or adigan@bennett.co.us.
