CDOT Road Work: Week of July 31, 2017

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will resurface three intersections on SH 79 in the town of Bennett to repair potholes and other damage caused by weather and traffic.  Crews will be working on the intersections week of July 31.

On Monday, crews will work on the shoulders. There will be no lane closures and traffic impacts should be minimal. Flagging operations will be working near the road work to assist any residents with traffic delays.

Paving will begin later in the week and work will take place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. There will be one lane open while work is being done. Motorists should expect minor stops while equipment is moved through intersections with 10 to 15 minute delays.

CDOT has placed electronic sign boards to alert the area of the maintenance work. The resurfacing follows work done a few weeks ago that milled down the pavement to prepare it for resurfacing.
