New Town Hall
This groundbreaking is a major step for the Town of Bennett. The new Town Hall heralds a significant improvement to the availability, efficiency and functionality of the Town of Bennett. Currently employees of the Town are working out of three different buildings, some of which do not adequately serve our staff or residents for day to day use. This new 8,200 square foot building will serve all of us in one central location, with the ability to improve services and communication for our residents, whether they are trying to pay their water bill, obtain a permit or attend a town board meeting. The space also has ample room for growth in the future and will be constructed with energy efficiency as the primary focus. The building is a steel/CMU structure with metal panels and wood elements on the outside. A grant from DOLA in the amount of $25,000.00 was awarded to the Town of Bennett to help pay for the design and engineering.
The Town of Bennett would like to recognize our Town Board of Trustees for their willingness to make these major infrastructure investments needed to ensure this municipal government can meet the needs of its residents and meet the imminent growth demands our community is facing everyday.
