Public Input Meetings

Our ENGAGE SHAPE BUILD events are a series of public input meeting designed to get feedback from our residents regarding hot button topics on the future growth of Bennett.  Topics covered have been trail development, parks, playground equipment, traffic access control, community design, and a variety of changes and updates regarding our Chapter 16 Land Use Code.

We look forward to re-engaging with the public on this much needed project that will:

  • Improve regional connectivity
  • Reduce conflict and delay at the current State Highway 79 railroad crossing
  • Provide a safer crossing near the schools and for emergency vehicles

Provide a review of the extensive study that was conducted to determine the best possible alternatives for the realignment of State Highway 79

The public is asked to provide their input on the grade separated crossing at the UPRR

The next steps will be to create preliminary designs of the realignment and separated grade crossing

We look forward to seeing you Wednesday, February 8, 2017 6 - 7:30 p.m. at the County Shared Services Center at 355 S. 1st. Street, Bennett CO
