The Town Administrator is the chief administrative officer for the Town. This office implements any policy set forth by the Town Board and oversees all operations regarding the Town as a whole. The Town Administrator also directly supervises all departments.
The Finance Department is responsible for facilitating all financial functions for the Town. This department is responsible for preparation of the Annual Budget and assists with accounts payable and Utility Billing.
Utility Billing is responsible for generating, processing, and collecting all water and waste water utility account billings each month.
The Administrative Services Department is responsible for providing reliable information, services, and resources to the Community and all departments. These divisions consist of: Human Resources and I.T.
The Town Clerk’s Office is one of the most visited offices within Town Hall, providing a link between the Community and the Town Board of Trustees. Main functions of this Office include: Safeguarding the Town’s permanent public records, process and administers liquor and business licenses, conducts municipal elections, & keeps record of all Town Board meetings and study sessions.
The Town of Bennett Municipal Court process all misdemeanor traffic infractions and code violations. The court also supervises community service.
The Community Development Department is responsible for planning, improving and maintaining the quality of life and public safety in the Town, consistent with the goals and policies established by the Town Board of Trustees. These divisions consist of: Building, Permits, Planning and Development, & Animal Control/Code Enforcement.
The Code of the Town of Bennett encompasses any regulation or provision required and/or enforced within the Town. The entire code is available online.
The Economic Development Department is responsible for assisting citizens, community members and economic development organizations with the creation and retention of sustainable employment which contributes to the long term economic diversity of our community.
The Public Works Department is responsible for providing the delivery of high quality, cost-effective, and safe services involving public infrastructure and facilities to enhance the quality of life in the Town. These divisions consist of: Utilities, Parks & Grounds and Public Services.
