Questions

Where can I dump my tree limbs and other trash?

The Town of Bayfield only offers one bulk pick-up a year: it is held in the spring. For information on the clean-ups, check the Events section of the web site.

Before or after bulk clean ups, residents will need to dispose of their trash, including limbs and other green waste, themselves.

DO NOT PLACE ANY TRASH OR GREEN WASTE IN OR AROUND THE TOWN MAINTENANCE YARD.

You may take your bulky items and any other extra trash to the Bayfield Convenience Center.

The Convenience Center is a solid waste and recycling collection point located 4496 CR 223 across from the Lion's Club Gun Range.
Phone: 749-1335

Hours of Operation:

Monday: 1pm - 6pm
Tuesday: 10am - 6pm
Thursday: 9am - 2pm
Saturday: 1pm - 6pm

Cost for collection is $9.00 per cubic yard for compactable waste and $10.50 per cubic yard for non-compactable waste.

When are Utility Bills mailed out? When are Utility Bills due?

The Town of Bayfield tries to mail utility bills out on the 10th of each month.
They are due on the 28th of every month.

What is the $1.00 Surcharge for my utility bill?

The Town of Bayfield has hired Vector Disease Control to do mosquito spraying throughout the Town limits. The $1.00 surcharge for spraying covers this service. There are traps set up in several different locations around Town and spraying is done when the trap counts show a high population of mosquitoes in that location. The spraying occurs during the middle of the night so that it will have minimal impact on the residents. If you do not wish to have your home sprayed, please contact the Bayfield Town Hall to put your name and address on the “no-spray” list or you may call Vector Disease Control at 1-800-413-4445.
