Per Statute, the State Land Board publishes quarterly reports for Agriculture leases that are expiring and available for public bid. These reports are posted no later than the first day of May, August, November, and February of each year. The Expiring Lease Reports can be found on the State Land Board’s website and in the county office in which the lease is located. There are specific instructions for both renewal and competitive bid applications, therefore applicants are encouraged to contact the District office for details. The State Land Board issues surface leases for grazing, dry land crop production and irrigated farming. Agriculture leases generate consistent and sustainable revenue while managing state trust land in a manner that protects and enhances the long-term value of the assets. Agriculture leases are managed by Staff in the agency’s district offices.
