Asset Management Plans

An Asset Management Plan (AMP) is a management plan prepared by the State Land Board for a specific state trust property, usually a large property asset of 25,000 acres or more. Its purposes is to provide a framework for achieveing the State Land Board's bision for that property by setting goals, objectives, priorities, and management strategies that can be adapted to changing financial, environmental, and social conditions. The plans provide for the management of natural resources and often encourage multipurpose use of those assets.
