Asset Management Plans

An Asset Management Plan (AMP) is a management plan prepared by the State Land Board for a specific state trust property, usually a large property asset of 25,000 acres or more. Its purpose is to provide a framework for achieving the State Land Board’s vision for that property by setting goals, objectives, priorities and management strategies that can be changed according to changing financial, environmental and social conditions. The plans provide for the management of natural resources and often encourage multipurpose use of those assets.
