Colorado AmeriCorps State Grant - New & Existing Planning Grant Request for Applications

Serve Colorado is excited to announce the 2019-20 Colorado AmeriCorps State Grant Request for Applications for current planning grantees as well as consideration of new planning grantees*. Key dates for the Spring 2019 application round are outlined below. For key dates related to the Formula Continuation application process, see the RFA below. 

Note that to apply to host an AmeriCorps program at your organization with Serve Colorado, you must propose the equivalent of 10 full-time AmeriCorps members. If you are looking for less than ten full-time members, please contact Serve Colordo Deputy Director Paul Brown at 303-866-2565 or paul.brown@state.co.us

March 29, 2019 Applications due to Serve Colorado in eGrants
April 12, 2019 Staff and peer application review complete
April 19, 2019 Written feedback and clarification requests sent to applicants
April 24, 2019

Written clarification response due from applicants

April 26, 2019 Panel interviews for applicants
May 3, 2019 Revised applications due to Serve Colorado
May 10, 2019 Serve Colorado notification of successful planning grant applicants
June 2019 (exact date TBD) Final Serve Colorado application due to CNCS
July 2019 (exact date TBD) CNCS notification of certified funding of successful applicants

Each of the technical assistance webinars are intended for individuals who have submitted an AmeriCorps State Program Concept Paper and received an invitation to apply for 2019-20 funding by Serve Colorado, and any other interested parties. CNCS also has a webpage with resources for those interested in applying for AmeriCorps State and National grants.
