Apply for Crime Victim Services Funds - Deadline is Feb. 18, 2020

The Office for Victims Programs within the Division of Criminal Justice is now accepting applications for federal and state Crime Victim Services (CVS) Funds. The deadline to submit applications is 11:59 p.m., February 18, 2020, in ZoomGrants.

The Office for Victims Programs administers several state and federal grant programs that provide support for services to victims of crime. Grant funds are awarded through a competitive application process. The  Crime Victim Services (CVS) Advisory Board reviews submitted applications and then provides their recommendations to the Executive Director of the Department of Public Safety for review and approval.

The following grants are included in the competitive application process:

A total of approximately $74.2 million from all four funding sources (VOCA, VAWA, SASP and State VALE) is estimated to be available for this funding process. Note: this estimated total is the amount available for 2 years. The vast majority of available funds are federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funds.
