Meet the Experts and Collaborate Side-by-Side to Enhance our System

WHEN: Wednesday, March 4 and Thursday, March 5

WHERE: Westin Westminster Hotel, 10600 Westminster Blvd., Westminster, CO

WHAT: Alongside those with real experience from each step of the criminal justice system, we will:

  • Share and promote best practices.
  • Learn how state agencies are focusing their efforts on reducing recidivism, improving detention decision-making, increasing sentencing proportionality, and reducing juvenile involvement to make a real impact in Colorado.
  • Gather in break-out sessions to discuss key issues and gather stakeholder feedback.

COST: Free. (Registration is required and will be opened in January 2020.)

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

Governor Polis and his administration have met with stakeholders including community members, criminal justice professionals, victim and offender advocates, and many more to build a roadmap to reduce recidivism and improve public safety. This convening is intended to bring together those who are passionate about continuing to move Colorado forward as a national leader in public safety and criminal justice practice. Attendees will be sharing their ideas, providing feedback around the strategies they hear, and informing the path to a stronger system of accountability and support.
