The Phillips County Commissioners have accepted bids from Maverick Steel for the building materials and the erection for the new Pavilion and Education Center. They accepted a bid from Skarco LLC of Burlington for the concrete foundation work. Skarco LLC began work on Monday, February 26, 2018. The project goal is to have the pavilion up by June 15! That will hopefully give us time to finish important inside amenities before the county fair. We do plan a meeting room, restrooms, kitchen/concession area, and storage area in the northeast corner of the new pavilion. We are not sure those items can be completed by fair.
