New District Website Coming Soon

The District will be launching its new website platform in January 2018.  Aside from its more attractive appearance, the new website will feature easier customer navigation and a more user-friendly experience.  The frequently accessed features, including Agendas & Minutes, Financial Information, and Online Bill Pay, will be directly accessible from every page of the website.

The website will host a Document Center that uses a file folder hierarchy format, making it easier to locate and download document files.   The home page includes News & Announcements sections along with links to the Newsletters, Calendar of Events, the District’s Rules & Regulations, and Board of Directors information.  The content from the District’s current website was copied to the new website and new content will be added after going live with the new site.

The District’s current website is hosted by the Colorado Statewide Internet Portal Authority (SIPA) who also provides the content management tool.  Although SIPA enabled the District to have its first full-featured website, there was very little flexibility in the appearance of the website and the placement of content.  Its content management tool is less “user-friendly” than the content management tool of the new website service. This resulted taking more time and to add content to the website.  We also heard from some of our customers that it was somewhat confusing to enter the PBHMD.com web address and have the website go to a Colorado.gov website.

The new website will be hosted by CivicPlus of Manhattan, Kansas, who also developed the website content management tools called CivicEngage Media.  CivicPlus specializes in government websites that include several Colorado special districts and municipalities.  CivicPlus will also be providing the District with its CivicEngage Send.  This tool will allow the District to create a message and send it through multiple channels including email, text, and the District’s social media pages.

The District’s web address will remain the same, www.pbhmd.com.   We will notify the subscribers of the District’s email newsletter when the new website goes live.
