This year-long course (August-April) is designed to provide experienced educators the tools they need to be effective mentors to new staff. Teachers will participate in professional learning to ensure the provision of quality support aligned with novice teacher, alternative teacher and induction program goals. Topics will include best practices in instruction and classroom management, as well as teaching and learning styles, generational differences, and conferencing techniques.
