Red-lined Oil and Gas Regulations
The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) continues to review portions of the Morgan County Zoning Regulations related to oil and gas.
On March 27, 2018 a Resolution was passed which became effective immediately, that now defines by zoning, parcel size or other factor which oil and gas activities are uses by right, uses that require conditional use permits, uses that require special use permits and those which are prohibitive uses.
The originally proposed Resolution 2018 BCC 14 including its title, is being revised to reflect only the approved portions (items 1 through 19 in the original resolution). The approved regulations will be posted when available.
The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) at the request of the Colorado Oil and Gas Commission will be hosting additional stakeholder meetings to discuss potential revisions and or additions to regulations affecting oil and gas activity in Morgan County.
