The sewer service (lateral) is owned and maintained by homeowners, including the connection to the district’s main. All maintenance and repairs within the lateral are the homeowner’s responsibility, even the portion of the pipe within the street.
At least one of The Mineral County Board of Commissioners will be participating in bi-weekly phone calls (Tuesday and Thursday) with the Mineral County COVID-19 update call starting on March 26, 2020 at 2 pm. There is no anticipation of decisions being made by the Board. Any subject matter that arises that needs Board action will occur at the next regularly scheduled board meeting.
Governor Jared Polis has issued a statewide stay-at-home order through April 11. Under this order, behavioral health care providers are considered essential and should continue to provide services during this time with appropriate modifications, such as telehealth or screening protocols for services that must continue in-person.

Property taxes are due January 1st for the previous year. Payment may be paid in two equal installments or in one full installment.

Coronavirus-19 (Covid-19) is a respiratory (airborne) virus and cannot be transmitted by mosquitos.
Last year there were 4 confirmed cases of West Nile Virus in our District.
The Mineral County Board of Commissioners will be holding a meeting on Tuesday, January 24, 2020 beginning at 9 am to consider extending the Emergency Declaration, speak to the Director of Social Services and consider other items related to the County's response to the COVID-19 crisis. In consideration of social distancing practices we have set up a Zoom meeting so that the public can attend if they wish. The courthouse is closed to public access and this meeting is no exception.
