PART TIME SENIOR CENTER ASSISTANT – Logan County Heritage Center is looking for a flexible part time employee to work 20 – 24 hours a week.  Performs a variety of routine administrative support duties related to the functions of the Heritage Center with primary focus on the Nutrition Site Program.  HS diploma or GED equivalent.  Must be familiar with word processing, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Microsoft publisher, data entry, and basic bookkeeping. CHILD WELFARE INTAKE CASEWORKER - Logan County Department of Human Services  Full Time position: Performs a variety of advanced level technical and professional duties as needed to expedite child investigative services in accordance with agency, state, and federal guidelines, rules and laws.

Services provided include the following child welfare areas: child abuse and neglect assessments, case planning and management involving circumstances such as physical abuse, child neglect, sexual abuse, foster care, youth in conflict, and related areas, to include some aspects of counseling and parent education.

Conducts inquiries and assessments concerning allegations of child abuse and/or neglect in home or institutional settings, youth in conflict, interviews child(ren)/youth, parents, providers, and collaterals and assesses risk and safety to the child/youth; and documents the investigative assessment process as required in the State database.

Minimum education: 4 year college degree from an accredited college or university in social work or one of the human behavioral science fields plus one year required internship/residency.

Starting Salary:  $ 18.5997 per hour with benefits – negotiable dependant on education & experience.
