MOTOR VEHICLE ALERTS:

State Department of Revenue is shutting all Motor Vehicle offices down CLOSED August 1 – 3, 2018 in order to convert data from the old DOS based system to the NEW DRIVES window based system.  That means Logan County Motor Vehicle will be CLOSED and we will not be able to do any type of transactions on those days.  If you need to title or plate your vehicle, renew your plates, need a temporary tag, need an ADA placard we will not be able to help August 1-3 when the state has us closed.   Keep in mind the week of August 6 will be very busy as we go live with the new DRIVES system. 

The new DRIVES system will help us give better customer service and will provide customers with more options to go online at their convenience at home.  Some of the new online options at mydmv.colorado.gov/ will be:

  • title/registration history search
  • add/change vehicle address
  • print prior transaction receipts
  • registration fee estimator
  • plate decal replacement
  • first time ADA placard applications
  • renewing your plates
  • personalized plate application process   

Thank you for your patience as we work through the training and growing pains with the rest of the state to better serve Logan County Motor Vehicle customers.
