Baby and Me Tobacco Free Program

Tobacco-related diseases are the leading cause of preventable death in Colorado and nationwide. Quitting smoking is the single most important thing you can do for your health and the health of your baby. Baby & Me Tobacco Free, through the WIC Program, can help.

Who Qualifies

Pregnant moms who smoke and a smoking person residing with the pregnant woman as a support partner

What the Program Includes

  • Four prenatal smoking cessation counseling sessions, typically completed at WIC appointments
  • Monthly breath tests to prove that you are tobacco-free

When participants stay smoke-free after their baby is born, they will receive a benefit card for $25 in diapers or diaper wipes each month for up to 12 months! If a supporting partner is enrolled and stays smoke-free they can receive a second card each month!
