Area Extension Agent
4-H Youth Development/Livestock
Golden Plains Area, Phillips County, Holyoke, CO
The individual will provide leadership, guidance, direction and assistance in the development and implementation of the overall 4-H Youth Development program in Phillips County and subject matter support for youth livestock projects in the 4-H program area.
A completed bachelor’s degree is required for this position. Degree must be conferred in agriculture, animal science, natural sciences, youth development, education, agricultural education or a closely related field. A successful candidate without a completed master’s will be required to complete a master’s degree relevant to their Extension position within 5 years from the start of employment. Failure to do so will result in termination unless a compelling reason is accepted by the Vice President for Engagement and Extension.

KIT CARSON COUNTY DISPATCH DEPUTY
The Kit Carson County Sheriff's Office currently has a full time Dispatch Deputy opening. Applicants must be 21 years of age and a U.S. citizen or possess appropriate work visa. High School diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver license. Must be able to work all shifts, which includes days, nights and weekends. Must pass a back ground check and drug/alcohol testing.

Kit Carson County Ambulance Service provides services as needed to eastern Kit Carson County and transports to the Denver Metro area. These positions are on call positions and considered part time. Call hours are flexible and paid per event plus paid on-call time and annual bonus available. Other compensation includes uniforms, continuing education training, and opportunity to provide an essential and valuable service to the local community.
