The 2016 General Election will be conducted by mail ballot per HB13-1303. In person voting, ballot replacements and address changes may be made at the Voter Service and Polling Center. Please click the “Polling Locations” links below for more information.
You may return your voted ballot by mail or you may hand deliver your ballot to a Designated Drop-Off/Voter Service and Polling Center.
Ballot must be RECEIVED at the Kit Carson County Elections office or a Designated Drop-Off/Voter Service and Polling Center by 7:00 P.M. on Election Day in order for your vote(s) to be counted. Ballots received after 7:00 P.M. on Election Day will not be counted.
Postmarks do not count as a received date. You must use adequate postage.
Uniformed & Overseas Citizens:
To be counted your voted ballot must be sent or transmitted by 7:00 P.M. MT on the day of the Election. Voted ballots must be in the hands of the Clerk and Recorder’s Office no later than the close of business on the 8th day following the day of Election.
