The Kiowa County Department of Social Services is accepting applications for a full-time child/adult protection worker.

Minimum qualifications for this position require a bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college in a human services field such as social work, psychology, or sociology. There are no substitutions allowed for the educational requirement. Experience is helpful but not required.

Position offers a competitive salary and a full benefit package that includes paid health insurance for employee and family, paid vacation, retirement plan, on-call pay, and a 37.5 hour work week. 

Position requires the ability to work with people, excellent telephone skills, computer proficiency, and a valid Colorado driver’s license. All applicants are subjected to a criminal background check, and must be able to travel.
