The Town of Ignacio is a council-manager style of government. Our Town Board is made up of six Trustees and a Mayor. All seven members are elected individuals residing within Town Limits.

Regular Town Board Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month in the Abel F. Atencio Municipal Complex at 570 Goddard Avenue.
Staff reports will be presented on the meeting of the 3rd Wednesdays.

The Town Board follows Robert's Rules of Order to maintain the flow and structure to meetings. We encourage public participation in all our Board Meetings. From time to time there will be a need for a closed session for negotiations or similar. These will be noticed on the agendas per Colorado State Law and no actions (voting) can take place during these sessions. Any voting or other action must be done outside of the closed session.
