Market Days 

Every Friday
June 2nd - September 1st
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

This free event takes place on the Idaho Mall (south of Miner St in the Historic District). Every 3rd Friday in June, July and August, there will be a baking contest – Pies in June, Cookies in July and Fruit Bread in August. Entrants must live or be employed in Clear Creek County. Each month’s winner will receive a $50 prize.

JUNE

Summer Kickoff

Saturday June 3rd
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM 

Parade down Miner Street followed by a FREE BBQ at Citizens Park about Noon. BBQ sandwiches and all the fixings. It’s a great way to kickstart the summer.

RapidGrass Bluegrass Festival Friday, Saturday and Sunday June 23rd –June 25th LINEUP: Rapidgrass Album Release (Happy Trails), Head For The Hills, Trout Steak Revival, Matt Flinner Trio Featuring Tony Trishka and Darol Anger, Coral Creek, Gypsy Moon, AND MORE. Triple Bypass 

Saturday and Sunday July 9-10 

The Triple Bypass Bicycle Ride is recognized as one of the premier cycling events in the nation. A one or two-day cycling event, celebrating its 29th year, the Triple Bypass takes you on a gorgeous tour through the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Bob Cook Mt Evans Memorial Hill Climb

Saturday July 15

The Bob Cook Memorial Mt. Evans Hill climb is an iconic bicycle race that takes place on the highest paved road in the United States. It was run for the first time in 1962. It was renamed in 1981 in honor of five-time race winner Bob Cook, who died of cancer at the age of 23. For more information please visit www.bicyclerace.com

16th Annual Idaho Springs Tommy knockers Mining Days Festival and Pack Burro Race

Sunday July 23 

Please join us for the 16th Annual Idaho Springs Tommy knocker Mining Days Festival and Pack Burro Race! This event is FREE for spectators to attend, and $50 for participants.
This race is between 4 and 6 miles which is a great distance for first timers!!  Weigh In’s begin at 10:00am followed by a parade and all Burro Race entrants must participate – the burro race will begin at 12:00 pm on Miner Street in Idaho Springs.

39th Annual Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon

August 12th

Start time is 8:00 am sharp! Race start is in Georgetown, next to Georgetown Lake on the frontage road.  The race finishes in Idaho Springs at 12th and Miner St.  The post race celebration is in Clear Creek football field in Idaho Springs, there are a number of exits along I-70 where your fans can view the race.
